A New Chapter for JWest

On September 14, 2026, our community came together to mark the JWest Groundbreaking Ceremony and the beginning of the next chapter
for the project.

The ceremony brought together donors, community members, partners and leaders to recognize the vision, collaboration and years of work
that have brought JWest to this milestone — and to look ahead to the transformation of the site.

The day also marked an important announcement for the future campus. The new campus will be known as the Roadburg Campus,
and the new JCC will be named the Diamond Jewish Community Centre, recognizing the two largest philanthropic gifts received for the project.

We are deeply grateful to the Roadburg Foundations and the Diamond Foundation for their extraordinary philanthropic leadership, and to the many
donors and community partners whose support has helped bring JWest to this point.

With excavation commencing in the coming weeks, the transformation of the site is about to begin. We look forward to sharing the progress as the Roadburg Campus and Diamond Jewish Community Centre take shape.

We look forward to sharing more moments from this milestone with our community.
